Camp Dream Street

For one week each summer children visit a magic place called Camp Dream Street.

We welcome children from six through sixteen from Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma, and southern Missouri regardless of race, color, culture or religious belief. Their healthy siblings, age six to eleven participate as space allows.

There is no failure at Camp Dream. Every child participates at their own level. They get to enjoy all the fun things other kids do at camp: swim, fish, hike, and canoe. They learn new skills like archery and photography. Fun crafts, art activities, and music are part of some days. Our campers make new friends, build lasting friendships, and share once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Developing a sense of independence and self confidence is another part of the Cap Dream Street experience.

Children are accepted at any stage of their disease process and in remission. Medical protocols established by the child’s physician are always followed. Should the need arise, campers can be transported to major medical facilities in Ft. Smith, AR.

Our staff are professionals age 21 and older who volunteer their time and talents to make the week a memorable one for our campers. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, including teachers, doctors & nurses, business men and women, even retirees.

Thanks to private, corporate, and service club donations Camp Dream Street is free of charge to camper families.
